Grand Hotel de la Ville, the luxury hotel for Your week-ends in Parma

The Grand Hotel de la Ville, the only five stars hotel in Parma, opened its doors for the first time in November 2003. The hotel is located downtown, within the Barilla Center, a shopping complex that houses the Academia Barilla, the Paganini Auditorium, Villa Eden Health Club Spa, shops and a multiplex cinema.
 
The hotel is an example of industrial reconversion. It's located in the disused Barilla factory and it was planned with the extraordinary participation of celebrity Architect Renzo Piano by leading Italian Architect Augusto Busnelli for the interior design, Architect Giulio Possa for the technological system and the computerization.
 
Several design pieces of furniture: armchairs and sofas by Pierre Chareau, chairs and tables by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and lights by Brand en Van Egmond and A. & P.G. Castiglioni.
 
100 rooms and 9 suites, conference rooms with natural day light for up to 300 persons, restaurant "Parmigianino" and America Bar "Colibr" with "al fresco" seating, roof terrace, fitness room with sauna and Turkish bath, a garage with 600 car spaces, Wi-Fi connection.
